Tournament
Instead of a final we will have a tournament of Mattress and Fun Noodle Jousting held ont he school grounds probably in the quidditch pitch or some classroom area. Team will have been chosen we will choose them at the end of Lesson 4 and I will post so everyone knows what team they are on. Below I am going to explain how it will be played during the tournament and the prizes for each team.
Prizes
First place team members will reacieve 50 points each for placing.
Second place team members will recieve 25 points for placing.
All participants will recieve 15 points.
You can choos to abstain from the Tournament only if your going to be absent for a period of time otherwise it is required to recieve a quill for this class.
Gameplay
We will be playing it by RPing our preparation, sliding and aiming of the blow, each time two people post thier jousts and aims I will then post a trivia question for each of them. If they get the questions right then they will both score the points for thier placement if one person gets thiers right and the other does not then they will have knocked the other from thier mattress. Below is an example of how this will go. They are short, but to the point, and the trivia might not be all harry potter related.

I climbed to the top of the slide holding ym pink fun noodle prepared for my turn, I chose to sit and slide, aiming squarely for his head the whistle blew and I flew down the ramp on my mattress still aiming for his head.
Person 2
After arranging myself on my mattress and facing my opponent I gulped weakly and felt myself sliding bewildered I frantically aimed at his chest hoping to score a hit, even a weak one.
Professor
I watched the opponent slide toward each other waiting to see who would hit and score, they were both aiming pretty well, but you never knew.

She watched as both opponents scored points marking down thier total with the rest of thier teams and blew her whistle signaling the next two to start.
You don't need to RP the hits taking place or anything else after that as it will have been sort of modded for you in my post, but if you want you can each team will be assigned a posting order from the begining so that everyone knows when they will go. And scoring for each hit will be based on traditional mattress jousting points.
Mainly everyone have fun and earn some points!!
